Our client is looking for a Blaster/Painter to start immediately on a nightshift roster.
You will be required to complete multiple tasks within a manufacturing environment including: shot blasting, spray painting, rubber hand lining, and operating equipment such as rubber compression & injection molding presses to produce rubber and polymet wear lining products.
You will be working in a team environment manufacturing a range of rubber and polymet, screen media products, primarily for the mining and aggregate industries.
Understanding the work activities of the workstation is essential, ensuring schedules are met and maintaining a high level of safety and housekeeping of the workstation.
Essential requirements:
The role includes:
** Visa Applicants with 6-month limitations or minimum 20-24 hours per week will not be suitable for these roles. All roles require full work rights **

- White Card
- Drivers Licence
- Pass Pre-Employment drug and alcohol screening
- High-Risk Licence – Forklift ticket
- Dogging ticket - Desirable
The role includes:
- Prepare surfaces for coating application through blasting techniques, ensuring proper surface preparation and removal of contaminants.
- Apply various types of coatings using appropriate application methods such as brushing, spraying, or roller application.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.
- Complete Quality Control documentation and reports
- Assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning.
- Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints
