About Our Client:

Our Client, a leading National supplier of galvanized steel to the construction industry located in Hexham, are seeking hard-working, reliable General Factory Labourers to join the team.

About the Role:

• Ongoing work – Monday to Friday, with the view to permanency
• Day and Afternoon Shift available
• $30-$34 per hour
• Great working conditions
• Long-term position for the right candidate

Your duties will include but are not limited to:   

• Wiring steel products to jig in preparation for galvanising
• General factory duties
• Dressing/Fettling of galvanised steel using grinders, hand files etc
• Strapping, packing steel ready for customer pick up/dispatch
• Repetitive movements and manual handling of steel 

To be successful for this role you will need the following:    

• Be physically fit and have no movement or lifting restrictions
• Be comfortable working with large scale machinery 
• Be committed to full-time hours
• Have good English speaking and comprehension
• Be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Be safety-conscious
• Have a can-do attitude!
