We are currently seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join the team on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm OR 9am 5.30pm .
About the Role: Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for:
Guiding, supporting and inspiring the production team to excel
Adhering to and enforcing safety protocols and ensuring a secure workplace and environment
Overseeing production schedules and allocating resources
Supervising and maintenance of workshop equipment
Assisting with reporting
QA
Driving LEAN initiatives across the workshop to enhance efficiencies and reduce waste
WH&S
Collaborating with Leading hands, Engineers and other stakeholders within the business to ensure effective operations
To be successful for this role; you will posses the following:
Minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Trade qualifications
LEAN training with experience in implementing improvements
Experience using MS office programs
Forklift licence is preferred but not essential
Experience ERP systems is also preferred but not essential
